You may have heard or read the Affirmation:
Day by Day, in Every Way, I am getting better and better.
Or: Every Day, in Every way, I am getting better and better.
When I saw this Mantra on the internet, I fell in love with it, and wanted to find out where it came from.
I personally like the version “Day By Day, in Every Way, I am Getting Better and Better”, because this is what he actually wants us to understand, that healing, or improvement, comes step by step, so Day by Day.
This method addresses any problem you may have. It doesn't matter if you want to improve your health, money, relationships and so on. You could basically think of your problem, and then do the ritual. Or just leave it open, because it will address all the themes you want to improve in your life.
Like I mentioned before Coué said that you should say the affirmation out loud, not just in your mind. So instead of a string with 20 knots, I handcrafted a kind of bracelet with 20 beats.
I did the ritual for a while like suggested, but I found it boring somehow. And saying the Mantra 20 times very slowly felt like an hour.
I thought I would record a kind of meditation using the Mantra. But I also understand that listening to the recorded meditation Mantra, is not the original ritual, intended by Coué. The process would be passive, but it is supposed to be active.
But I thought, when I listen to it and say the Mantra out loud as well, then it should be fine. Maybe it is not the original ritual anymore, but somehow it feels right.
Well, I sometimes still use my bracelet, and sometimes I use the Meditation.
Maybe you are interested now in this method? If so, I suggest getting some more information about Émile Coué, his work, and the ritual to understand why you should give it a try.
I would like to share my meditation with you again, like I do a lot here on my website.
In this recording I say the Mantra 20 times, very slowly, and when I listen, I say it out loud at the same time.
After 20 times of saying: Day by Day, in Every Way, I am getting better and better, I say YES, Thank you.
This is a signal for me that I am done.
When I listen to it in the morning, I get up after I hear: Yes, Thank you.
But when I listen in the evening, I stop saying the Mantra out loud, then I relax and listen, because I will repeat the Mantra more often, so that when I fall asleep, my subconscious mind internalizes it even more.
I know this is not the original ritual, but I feel it works for me, and maybe it is a good start for you to give it a try. You will find the meditation in the free Meditation Course.
Thank you for being here. Love and Light to you always.
