One of the biggest struggles for spiritual teachers and energy workers who create online courses is this: How much should I charge?
If you’re like me, you’ve invested years—and thousands of dollars—into your training, certifications, and spiritual journey. You’ve relied on intuition, made sacrifices, and gained experience that can’t be measured in hours or dollars.
So when it comes to pricing your courses, you might hesitate. Maybe it feels wrong to charge too much. Maybe you want to help everyone. Or maybe you’ve heard that spirituality should be free.
Let’s talk about that.
Energy Exchange Matters
As healers and spiritual guides, we understand that giving and receiving must remain in balance. (You can read more about this topic in my post here.)
Money is part of that exchange. When someone invests in your service—whether it’s a Reiki session, a spiritual consultation, a live class, or an online course—they’re not just paying for your time. They’re investing in their own healing and growth.
And when you receive a fair exchange, you’re better able to continue sharing your work with energy, clarity, and joy.
Whether you offer private healing sessions, readings, group rituals, or digital content—pricing matters. If your price is too low, people may not value your work. If it’s too high, it may be out of reach for those who need it most. The key is balance—and that can be a spiritual act in itself.
Real Talk: It’s Not Always Fair
Let’s be honest. Whether you’re offering in-person sessions or creating online content, the world of spiritual services is filled with challenges—especially for those of us doing it independently and authentically.
Online courses are everywhere now, but the competition is intense.
Big influencers with teams and tech budgets can build polished brands and high-priced offerings.
But for those of us who work solo or with limited tools, it’s different. We pour heart and soul into our work, often with little support behind the scenes.
If you’re offering online courses, you know that platforms often take large commissions.
And if you rely on social media, you may feel overwhelmed by constant noise, ads, and algorithm games. For many of us, it’s hard to find joy in those spaces anymore.
Still, I believe there’s a better way—something more human, more heart-centered, and more connected.
Here are a few gentle questions to reflect on:
Personally, I choose what feels right in the moment. Right now, that means keeping my offerings affordable. But that may shift—and that’s okay. I trust my intuition to guide me.
Not long ago, I watched a video by someone who is quite well-known—especially for his teachings on Kabbalah. He has a full team and all the resources needed to maintain a strong online presence. But what truly moved me was his honesty: he said he doesn’t want to charge a lot for his teachings. In fact, he would give them away for free if he didn’t have to cover his expenses. He keeps his online courses low-priced simply because he loves sharing what he’s learned. What’s more, he said he wants to find a way to reach more people without using marketing tricks or spamming them with endless emails.
I could really relate to that. It felt so genuine, and he earned a lot of respect from me for showing himself in such an authentic and humble way.

A Wish from the Heart
My wish is that those of us who aren’t big influencers or famous spiritual teachers—but who still offer our services and share our knowledge in an authentic way—can find ways to support one another. Whether through referrals, sharing each other’s work, or simply lifting each other up, I truly believe we can thrive together.
I know many amazing spiritual healers, mediums, and teachers who are in the same situation—offering so much value, but often without the visibility or recognition they deserve.
I don’t have all the answers on how to make this happen—but maybe we can figure it out together, as a community. If you have ideas, I’d love to hear them. Let’s discover new, heart-centered ways to grow—together.
🌿 If you feel called, share in our community—under the comments—what you’re offering, where you're located, and maybe even a link to your website. Let’s start connecting and supporting each other in meaningful ways.
