My Gratitude Meditation - Now Updated

Discover my updated Gratitude Meditation, a practice I created many years ago and have used often to connect with love, gratitude, and positive energy

A Meditation Close to My Heart

Many years ago, around 2015 or perhaps even earlier, I created my Gratitude Meditation as an audio so I could listen to it myself and also share it with many other people.

Maybe you already know this meditation from my Free Meditation Course or from YouTube.

I don’t remember the exact year anymore, but I do know that this meditation has been part of my spiritual practice for a very long time. I have used it many times myself over the years, and it has always remained very close to my heart.

Recently, I felt inspired to update it.

I refined some of the wording, changed the music, and created a new version while keeping the original intention and heart of the meditation the same.

Creating and Sharing Love and Gratitude

The meditation begins by creating a violet orb of energy within the heart.

Into this orb, we gather our love and gratitude.

With every breath, the violet orb grows larger, brighter, and more powerful.

From there, the energy of love and gratitude begins to flow outward.

For me, gratitude is more than simply saying thank you.

It is something we can consciously feel, create, and share.

When we focus on gratitude, even for a few quiet moments, our attention can begin to shift toward the people, experiences, little things, and beautiful moments in life that we appreciate.

Where the Inspiration Goes Back Even Further

Although I created my Gratitude Meditation many years ago, the idea of working consciously with gratitude goes back even further for me.

A long time ago, when I was still living in Germany, I took a course called Ecology of Thoughts by L. P. Troyan. I believe this may have been around the year 2000, although I don’t remember the exact year anymore.

It was a much longer course that explored different topics, including our thoughts, the subconscious mind, past lives and karma, and transpersonal experiences.

I remember that we also practiced a meditation involving gratitude that was similar in some ways to the meditation I later created.

That experience stayed with me.

Over the years, I continued to come back to this kind of gratitude practice from time to time, and eventually it became part of my own spiritual work and the Gratitude Meditation I created and shared.

I have continued to use this meditation for myself, and the heart of it still feels just as meaningful to me today.

The new version is not a completely different meditation. It is the same practice, simply refreshed and updated to reflect how I would guide it today.

Sometimes a spiritual practice can stay with us for many years while still growing and changing with us.

That is what this meditation has done for me.

Find a quiet place, make yourself comfortable, close your eyes, and simply allow yourself to follow the meditation in your own way.

There is nothing you need to force or achieve.

Simply relax and spend some time within the beautiful energy of love and gratitude.
